Finance Manager
CurrentFinancial Accounting, Budgeting, & Management Reporting :1. Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions including Invoicing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Inventory Control Management, Intercompany reconciliation2. Develop and implement financial management strategies; budgets, strategic planning, cash flow and treasury analysis. Review of monthly results3. Performing Customer Profitability Analysis and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management . Define and monitor key drivers and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the operational BUs4. Presentation of monthly managements reports.to the Board. Maintain confidence with key stakeholders and banking institutions. Liaise with External AuditorsCompliance and Business Controls :1. Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements2. Ensure integrity of reporting systems and processes including the system of internal controls3. Developing and optimizing the company’s financial policies and guidelines, as well as updating standard operating procedures.Enterprise Resource Planning/Operational Systems1. Design, development of operational and financial systems: Accounting, Procurement, Payroll, Fixed Assets Management, Fleet Management Systems.2. Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports.3. Evaluation of Operating systems to ensure that meet business objectives and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Systems Compliance with Schedule of Authority and signatory authority limits.4. Implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs)5. Proper Documentation and data knowledge management of the systems. Staff1. Proactively manage and motivate a team of 3 people.Recruit reporting staff as required.2. Work to improve employee performance through personal coaching and identifying training and development needs.3. Conduct annual performance appraisals and ensure objectives set are monitored and achieved.
