As a visionary optometrist and educator with over 20 years of experience in the eye care field, I have developed my expertise in primary eye care, community eye health, pediatric optometry, neuro-optometry, binocular vision, and vision therapy. I am passionate about exploring the profession of optometry in its diversity and contributing to its advancement through teaching, research, and clinical practice.I am currently the Program Director and an Associate Professor of Optometry at the College of Health Sciences, Gulf Medical University, UAE. I also founded and direct Prizmatic Visionary Solutions, a platform that offers life coaching, and career consultancy to aspiring optometrists and early career healthcare professionals. I hold leadership positions at national and global associations, such as the World Council of Optometry and the American Academy of Optometry (AAO)–India Chapter, where I serve as the inaugural president and the written exam committee chair for the BVPPO Clinical Diplomate section. I have published multiple peer-reviewed articles in high-indexed journals, and collaborate with ophthalmologists, and optometrists on management of children with cerebral visual impairment. I have been recognized as one of the 50 global key opinion influencer leaders by Media Mice and as the emerging outstanding leader by the AAO Foundation in 2023. As a passionate advocate for emotional and mental well-being, I support people through my expertise in life coaching, emotional intelligence coaching, and Pranic healing modalities.
