Back in 2005 in Orange County California, United States, I started Rizwan Adhami Associates as a small Architecture and Interior Design firm. After I moved to Pakistan in 2010, my goal was to establish the same business in Pakistan and eventually RAA got registered at Karachi in 2012. Concurrently, I was working at some key positions with some renowned firms in Pakistan. Finally, I resigned working as a General Manager at Bahria Town in order to continue the legacy that I was dreaming of.....and that is Rizwan Adhami Associates SMC Ltd.We provide complete Design Consultancy Services using Building Information Modeling (BIM). This includes Architecture, Interior Design, Master Planning, Structure, MEP, Fire-fighting, Project Management and complete Design-Build (Turnkey) services. We do Commercial & Real Estate Developments, Healthcare, Hospitality including Four to Five-star Hotels, Educational, Recreational, Entertainment, Multi-family Residential and Private Homes.We also convert existing projects developed in conventional AutoCAD 2D into 3D BIM Models. This includes all design disciplines in BIM including, but not limited to, Architecture, Interior Design, Structure, MEP, Project Management, Project Scheduling, Construction Timelines and Simulations and Feasibility Reports.

o Headed the building department which is looking after finishing works of six major projects including two residential towers, Cineplex Gold cinema, shopping mall, 200 bed hospital, high school building and Bahria Town's head office. These projects are part of a master planned community called Bahria Enclave that spreads on over 2250 acres of land having approximately 12000 residential units and various recreational and public service projects under construction. o Finishing work has been awarded to multiple contractors on a turnkey basis. My foremost responsibility was to evaluate the selection of finishing materials and components for adherence to company standards and client’s requirements. Further, to determine their effects on design, cost, engineering, and/or scheduling.o Furthermore, with the help of my team of construction managers and site supervisors, we strictly checked and analyzed the quality of work that is being done at site and ensure timely and proper rectification of any imperfection or defect in design or workmanship.o Moreover, we verified and processed all the Interim Payment Certificates (IPC’s) which are submitted by the contractors on monthly basis and prepared payment yardsticks for all billed projects.o I was part of the Contracts Department team and scrutinized the finishing works contracts based on FIDIC regulations and employer’s requirements. o Extended responsibilities included assessment of all the design work pursued by in-house Design Department for conformity to a high level of design and workmanship.

I was responsible for the entire management and control of Architecture and Interior Design departments including, but not limited to, project management.

The Centaurus is a mixed use real estate development in the most prime and central location of Islamabad, which has rapidly taken its shape to be one of the most desirable addresses in Pakistan. The Centaurus has pioneered the concept of a contemporary modern, luxurious master-planned community that integrates residential amenities with a world class shopping mall, a 5 Star Deluxe Hotel, and a Corporate Office Tower, to bring premium lifestyle to Pakistan.I am the Lead Designer for Centaurus Hotel and Office Towers which is currently the unfinished phase of this project. The proposed design was on hold due to a disapproval by the local authorities. My primary role is to redesign the Hotel and Office Towers and produce Construction Drawings using Revit. Further, I will be the Lead Interior Designer of this project and will be providing Top Supervision during construction.In addition to this, I am designing a 200 bed hospital in Rawalakot, Azad Kashmir. Worked on this project single-handedly and created a BIM model using Revit.

Creek Developers (Pvt.) Limited were undertaking a mega-scale mixed-use development – ‘The Arkadians’ in Karachi, Pakistan. This high-end development spans over an area of 43 acres in phase-8, D.H.A., Karachi. This project was on hold but currently is in development phase again.I joined Creek Developers as a Principal Architect on behalf of EA Consulting (Pvt.) Ltd. My key role as a Principal Architect was to supervise the development of Construction Documents for bidding purposes. Further to this, I was the chairperson of all the on-going meetings between the client, the contractor and the project managers. I was deeply involved in solving and rectifying all the major obstacles during the construction process by issuing proper directions to the concerned personnel and departments.

Principal Architect and Designer: IBA-Aman Tower in Karachi, Pakistan - 15 story academic and office building for executives with a total built-up area of 175,000 sf. Principal Architect and Designer: Novartis Pharma office building in Karachi, Pakistan - 9-story office building with a total built-up area of 132,000 sf.

Part-time instructor teaching Senior Year courses at the evening campus. Courses of instruction were Residential/Commercial Design, Residential/Commercial Construction Documents, Interior Design, Construction Technology, CAD Design, Space Planning, Revit Architecture, 3D Studio Max, AutoCAD and Photoshop.

Worked primarily with the Principal Architect/Owner, Robert Stern, on various commercial projects. The most significant one was the rehabilitation, improvement and advancement of University of Southern California, main campus in Los Angeles, California, U.S.
