Manage multiple teams that are focussed on bootstrapping datacenters, build custom applications to virtually represent the data centers, run supporting services for internal IBM teams, and maintain ongoing compliance.

Responsible for building and managing the team that planned, developed, and deployed the next-generation distributed and scalable Metrics System for IBM Cloud. Led the team to innovate with new technologies in spite of lack of in-house expertise. Communicated details of the new system architecture to all levels of the organization and obtained stakeholder buy-in throughout the development lifecycle.

Within the past two years I have played an integral role in supporting company growth by planning the development and management of applications that pay $1BN to external vendors. My team of software developers are operationally efficient and committed to application performance excellence following my introduction of new Agile best practices. I also manage a team of offshore resources to supplement our internal team development efforts.

In this role I leveraged my expertise in Oracle PLSQL, Oracle ADF and other solutions to manage strategic development projects. With every project I figured out ways to complete key tasks more efficiently and cost effectively while saving money and reducing bugs.

My main focus in this role was managing technology upgrades using Oracle, SQL Server, Java and Shell Scripting. My greatest achievement was developing CALC engines used by retailers to process approximately $1BN in payments annually
