In this role, i was responsible to supervise Sales Operations of Carpet & Furniture Division in designated territory.Major professional duties also involve:• Sales & budget forecasting & control.• Staff training (product knowledge, sales techniques & skills, etc)• Implement, establish, monitor & manage planned sales targets of my team and outlets.• Planning sales /consumer promotions & sales staff incentives• Ensure high motivation levels among the sales team and supervisors• Implement brand strategy accordingly to be in synergy with global brand view• New product launches• Monthly performance reporting - qualitative & quantitative• Study market trends and identify new opportunities • Monitor competitor activities and industry changes in order to formulate action plans to ensure continuity and growth. • Develop & manage all integrated Marketing strategies, together with promotional & trade campaigns • Daily sales team performance and target follow-up • Create/ identify new business opportunities (i.e. new channels of distribution or new brand acquisition)• Build & maintain relationships with retailers, competitors, etc.

Within this position, I was responsible to supervise all the Sales, Marketing & Publicity operations of the company with overall Brand Management duties for internationally renowned brands in bedding Industry like Diamond, DolceVita & Englander. In this position I also overviewed and managed the activities of 30 dealers, 4 Sales Executives, 10 merchandisers & trade marketing representatives.

• Job responsibilities included promptly responding to queries and requisitions of sales team and different customers. Preparation and keeping record of sales invoices, progress reports and sales comparisons. Monitoring of clients’ accounts and assisting sales team in preparing credit notes, evaluating commissions and assigning sales targets. Booking of orders and coordination with stores supervisor for on-time deliveries. Preparing quotations, circulars and daily, monthly and annual sales reports.

• Joined Diamond Group of Industries, one of the 20 biggest industrial groups in Pakistan which is involved in production & distribution of Polyurethane Foam, Spring Mattresses, Bicycles, Motorcycles, different Industrial Chemicals and packaging & Insulation materials. Joined as Area Sales Officer in Foam Sales Dept. and later promoted as Asstt. Sales Manager, Sales Manager & National Sales Manager during the 11years tenure. Last appointment was in Spring Mattresses dept, launched Spring Mattresses in Pakistan for the first time. Responsibilities included research, planning, product development, pricing, launching and sales promotion of different ranges of Spring Mattresses, Spring Bases, Divan Beds & Relaxers all over the Pakistan.
