Rizwan Siddiqi, President & CEO of EBA Engineering is a result-oriented senior executive with more than 37 years of proven leadership record of success with engineering background. He is responsible for the firm’s overall administration and serves as EBA’s client liaison. His broad areas of expertise include providing corporate oversight and leadership for organizational expansion and sustainable growth. He is recognized equally by his clients and colleagues for his leadership and is responsible for leading a strategic and sustainable growth in EBA that has doubled the employees and company revenues over the past 10 years, has expanded offices from 1 to 5 while also adding new service areas, and has been instrumental in establishing the Baltimore-based firm’s expansion of operations into PA, VA and DC.Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley appointed him in 2009 to serve on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Task Force and later in 2011 to serve as the Commissioner Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC). He was reappointed in 2018 by current Governor Larry Hogan for another 5-year term as Commissioner. He has held board positions with several professional, community and non-profit organizations. Currently he is the President-Elect for the American Council of Engineering Companies/Metro Washington (ACEC/MW) and director on an environmental non-profit Howard EcoWorks board. He has presented at several professional conferences and written many technical papers and blogs about engineering as well as leadership and sustainable business practices. Recognizing his leadership, Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley presented him a community service award in 2012. He is a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Maryland and the District of Columbia and obtained his MS in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech.
