The Institute for Change Leaders’ mission is to ensure progressive organizers and community-based organizations are continually developing the skills they need to transform the resources they have into the change they want. We do this through teaching organizing strategies and providing a platform for the growth of a network of organizers.

Mozilla exists to guard the open nature of the Internet​ and to ensure it remains a global public resource, open and accessible to all. At Mozilla, I led the team that works with and supports high-impact leaders in the movement. Under my watch, we transformed numerous small isolated programs into a comprehensive, strategic, and globally recognized program.

Premier leadership acceleration program for emerging markets (Mason Fellowship, Harvard) – an extremely selective and highly visible program. During the 6 years, I had multiple discrete responsibilities and achievements, including 1. Lead Microsoft's work with governments in Africa, leading the connected subjects of Innovation, Technology Policy and National Competitiveness. My role was to lead the development, orchestration and execution of business strategy including long-term markets prioritization across the continent. 2. Conceptualize, develop and then lead execution of strategic partnerships with prioritized African governments, including leading deliberations and strategies on how ICT can become an innovation enabler for the objective of national competitiveness.3. Manage teams of 200 professionals, across WECA (West, East, Central Africa & Indian Ocean Islands), responsible for Microsoft’s strategies, initiatives and programs to build deeper business relationships with governments, large enterprises and partners, delivering revenue targets exceeding USD125M annually.4. Create projects and programmes designed to help governments to achieve their national objectives and address their national socio-economic development priorities. 5. Pilot, refine and excute investment program of $25m to train teachers approx. 500,000 teachers, and 10,000 government officials. 6. Conceptualize an innovative ICT-Skills-for-Youth program, reaching 70,000 learners through university partnership.

Taking responsibility for Microsoft’s education programs and business, I led the regional teams crafting, executing and implementing programs to increase Microsoft’s mindshare and revenue in this key strategic vertical. Key part of the role involved leading, coaching and mentoring Microsoft’s education teams across 10 subsidiaries. I led Microsoft's regional engagement in high-visibility projects including Jordan Education Initiative and Egypt Education Initiative, and also led the regional program team in implementing the flagship Partners in Learning program with $40mreaching approx. 1m teachers and educators, and impacting education experience of 30m+ students

As the primary initiator of the idea, recruited the team, including co-founders to turn the idea into a thriving 80 people organization within three years. Assumed responsibility for business development and marketing for the venture, helping architect the key business partnerships.

In a role that would today be defined as a Chief Digital Officer, 1. Secured 25% reduction in costs, through a transition to electronic publication systems2. Planned and led the implementation of South Asia's first-ever news-portal at www.dawn.com3. Project-managed launch of a secondary publication facility ensuring on-time completion, within budget
