Rowan Jansens Email and Phone Number
Hi! I'm Rowan, a mechanical engineer studying at Olin College of Engineering located outside Boston. I am looking for a mechanical engineering summer internship anywhere in the United States. I have a passion for building things and I am captivated by the design, fabrication, testing, and prototyping workflow. In addition to my wide assortment of projects, I have an ever-growing repertoire of manufacturing skills that I employ daily to bring my ideas to life. At Olin, I am the mechanical design lead of Olin Electric Motorsports, an FSAE team where we design and build an electric racecar from scratch every year. I am also a member of Olin Rocketry, where I served as the Avionics lead and fronted the development of our most capable avionics package to date.Last summer, I worked at SpaceX where I got real experience with systems and test engineering. I have also worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory developing software for a CubeSat missionIn my free time, I enjoy building and flying FPV drones as well as producing cinematic videos from the flight footage.
