As technology's role expands globally, in all industries, I am grateful for a diversity of industry exposure, which for me has highlighted and reinforced what is fundamental to the success of most businesses.I'm an entrepreneur because I love problem-solving, and startups provide unpredictable chains of stimulating challenges. I think the time I've spent starting and working for different types of companies has developed my resourcefulness and ability to push critical actions forward - I consider these two of my strengths. I also love learning about innovative products and services and figuring out creative ways in which a company's unique capabilities can be leveraged to innovate and compete.I've worked for companies with annual revenues that ranged from below $0 to north of $100B, in a wide range of industries, including consumer data/analytics (Experian), aerospace & defense (CSP Associates), consumer products (3M), mobile payment (PhoneTab), cloud services (infrastructure, platform, and software), chat (PingUp), brick-and-mortar retail (Turnstyle), as well as enterprise scheduling (Subwhisper). Most recent I’ve been focused on building DAPPS (decentralized apps) on the Telos blockchain. I've also come to appreciate the importance of revenue, how it’s tied to employee performance, and how compensation incentive dynamics drive product development quality, company culture, and innovation in general. I believe in creating aligned incentives and unified strategic visions, which is why it's so important to spend energy early on - to have the discipline necessary - to ensure that profitability is appropriately factored into a company's larger strategic plan.
