Before starting my career within the Galenica Group, I spent 3 years at the Swiss Scientific Council. In 1989, after different responsabilities on several mangament levels, I took over the general management of Laboratories Hausmann Plc. By end of 1991 I became CEO of Vifor Pharma Ltd. In parallel I was General Manager for Central Services Division of the Galenica Group. Since 1995 I was member of the Corporate Executive Committee in charge of the Industrial and Marketing Représentations. In 1996 I became Head of the Division Distribution and Services. Till 2004 I headed the Market division (including the development of e-health technologies) of the Galenica Group. By mid of 2005 I left the Galenica Group in order to spend more time on personal mandates. I bought Interdelta, a small pharmaceutical company with activities in Switzerland and scaled it to a mid sized Co and sold it to the Omega Pharma Group. I act also since 2005 as a President and Chairman of the European Association of Pharmaceutical full-line Wholesalers and I'm President or Board member of several companies and associations. I'm also Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Canton of Fribourg.
