I am a Partner at Tempest Forensic Accounting UK LLP, having specialised in forensic accounting since 2006. Tempest Forensic Accounting UK LLP is an independent forensic accounting practice based in Bristol and Wales, albeit servicing clients across the UK. I have managed a wide range of forensic accounting assignments including:- commercial contract disputes- Mis-sold Interest Rate Hedging Product claims- Claims to the Foskett Panel arising from HBoS Fraud in Reading- corporate transaction matters including warranty and disputes;- business interruption claims;- business and share valuations;- matrimonial matters including liquidity and taxation issues;- fraud investigations; and- professional negligence, both liability and quantum.Having spent a year on secondment to the Economic Crime Unit of a major UK police force providing accounting consultancy and financial analysis to assist investigations of alleged frauds, I now regularly act as an expert witness in criminal cases, both for the Prosecution and defence. I have a particular specialism in POCA confiscation cases. I am familiar with the Legal Aid funding process.I have given evidence in the Crown Court on five occasions.
