Specialized in the Static Electronic Reversible Power Supply (SERPoS), an inverter/converter designed to maintain power in the event of a reactor failure aboard USS Ohio class submarines. I was the on site manager for two complete system installations and acceptance testing. Authored and taught a SERPoS familiarization course to both crew members and fellow FSEs.

Adapted a new navy-wide database for use at an intermediate station, averting a massive work stoppage due to lack of validated equipment. Trained 34 ship's calibration officers in the use of the Metrology Automated System for Uniform Recall & Reporting (MEASURE) database.

Setup, maintained and repaired a mobile Command and Control suite. Deployed to Pakistan for six months of operation as a disaster assistance center after the October '05 earthquake. Also deployed to Cyprus for two months of evacuation operations during the Israel-Lebanon conflict. Setup and deployed on a dive boat to provide real time communications for the KBOT oil platform October '06-transfer. Instructed 18 reservists on all operational and maintenance aspects of the JMAST communications suite. Authored three Standard Operating Procedures, enabling personnel unfamiliar with these equipments to set up and operate them successfully

Stood up the Ship's Maintenance Ashore program in San Diego. Determined the initial equipage requirements, ordering $450,000 of test equipment and preventative maintenance tools. Oversaw all electronics maintenance with quarterly periodicity or less for three Aegis Cruisers and one Arleigh Burke Destroyer. Provided CPR and Basic Life Support training to 218 medical and maintenance personnel, ensuring the command had sufficient first responders in case of an emergency.

Automated the handling of Special Request Chits, Personal Qualification Standards, and 8 O'clock reports, dramatically reducing paperwork, increasing efficiency and decreasing error rates.
