I am a Chartered Civil Engineer (UK) with post-graduate management, project management, construction law and dispute avoidance / resolution training and 30+ years of diverse experience across transportation, building/ architecture, water and renewable energy projects. My work has included team leadership/ commercial project management functions and contract administration roles (including nominated FIDIC Engineer of eight successfully implemented large-scale rail construction contracts, across two projects, with values ranging from 10m Eur to 220m Eur). My responsibilities are transverse as head of a 'boutique' team, "Contracts Management - International" that is engaged with the provision of targeted inputs to support primarily high-value and ‘risky’ projects within the several international companies that comprise the TYPSA Group - a large independent Spanish consulting, engineering and architecture services provider (3000+ people). In addition, the team are engaged to risk-review and develop/ negotiate elements of proposal contract documentation for key prospects and also input to the resolution of particular issues and disputes that arise across the Group's global portfolio.
