Led growth strategy and corporate development efforts for Hearst Magazine Media, one of the world's largest publishers of monthly magazines and digital media, with 25 U.S. brands and close to 300 international editions.

Pattern and Shape was established to unify proprietary Hearst data with that of premium data partners to provide actionable audience and shopping preference insights to brands and retailers. Combining and analyzing anonymized data from across Hearst's 400M+ monthly users and $350M+ of annual eCommerce activity with that of other premium publishers and eCommerce businesses, we have built a category-leading source of real-time insights to drive content marketing investment decisions.

Corporate growth strategy and acquisitions. Responsible for identifying new target areas and acquisition opportunities for the Hearst portfolio of companies, especially within B2B SaaS, as well as supporting other growth, strategy and M&A activities across the organization.

• Developed operational strategy to support Amgen's accelerated expansion into multiple international markets. Outcome to direct production decisions for biological drug products following acquisition of a new European production site.

• Directed property management and building engineering teams responsible for Maryland's largest private commercial/industrial office complex. Reduced annual operating budget by over 7%.• Managed capital improvement projects and tenant space build outs, delivering two significant commercial spaces ahead of schedule and more than 10% under budget.• Developed strategy and pro forma for proposal that won redevelopment opportunity of historic warehouse in Baltimore. Led land disposition negotiations with Baltimore City.• Managed development of innovative green commercial laundry facility to operate without utility connection. Created budget, schedule and pro forma and facilitated stakeholder meetings.

• Led real estate market valuation research project for Baltimore City Department of Planning; results were subsequently published in the city's 2006 Comprehensive Master Plan to direct capital investments.• Created development plan, budget and property acquisition strategy for a 72-unit residential development in East Baltimore. • Facilitated internal and external meetings to define commercial corridor redevelopment strategy.• Conducted quantitative and qualitative research of loan underwriting standards and residential mortgage foreclosures in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.
