Over the summer going into the final year of my undergraduate studies, I worked as a clinical intern for LifeStance Health - Delaware. During this experience I was given the opportunity to observe clinical services including psychological testing, individual/group therapy, and medication management. I was also able to work directly with clinical psychologists to discuss and score several clinical assessments. In addition to my clinical work, I assisted in administrative tasks including discharging clients and managing outgoing provider’s caseloads that allowed me to see both sides of mental health service providers.

The summer prior to my junior year of college, I worked as an undergraduate research assistant under the direction of Dr. Roberta Golinkoff and her graduate students. Throughout my internship, I was involved with improving the coding scheme for research studies and worked in partnership with another intern to create the coding write up. I also spent some time recruiting and scheduling participants for two different studies. We held weekly lab meetings to discuss research articles on new data and ideas found in the lab's area of interest, which allowed me to not only be involved in keeping up with new and improved research, but also improved my comprehension and analytical reading skills.
