Observe and evaluate students' performance, behavior, social development, and physical health. Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests - this includes both CDL and brick and mortar settings. Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate. Instruct students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations.

Provide support for absent teachers by initiating set lesson plans. On long-term assignments, develop and implement district curriculum to best suit student needs.

Teach assigned subjects to K-6th grade students according to curriculum plan. Develop lesson plans and instructional ideas according to school standards. Motivate students to participate in various educational activities. Develop creative learning opportunities for student’s education, social and behavioral growth.Extra Duties:- Coach cross country skiing and outdoor club- Design school year books- Develop and maintain a website for the school- Encourage continued education as FEA coordinator- Facilitate art projects school-wide as the art liaison- Tutor individual students- Provide technical support as tech liaison- Contribute to cultural and trade knowledge as the shop teacher

Provide comprehensive child care implementing both Magda Gerber and John Dewey's philosophy on constructivism and the creative child.

Co-teach 8 to 15 preschool aged children in a constructivist environment. Research, develop and implement creative and original lesson plans based on student interest. Work closely with a co-teacher and facility administrators.

Observe and facilitate student-driven learning for a small cohort of 4 2-4 year old children. Use Magda Gerber's RIE philosophy.

Generate a safe and learning-rich environment for children from infancy to four years of age. Coordinate instruction and assessment with other teachers and parents.

Create and implement lesson plans for 60 students with the aide of 5 other staff members. Direct students towards learning based activities while coordinating staff members.
