My role was to work with the higher profile and more difficult implementations to ensure they had what they needed. In some cases this meant outside the box thinking where I would come up with a way to configure the Kronos product to do what they need. Other times it was working with engineers to develop a custom solution to meet their needs. At the beginning it was working mostly with Hospitals and Universities. In the last couple years we worked with the gaming industry. As a result of our work, we were able to get a very high retention rate exceeding plan.I need to be doing several things at the same time or I get bored, so I also volunteered to be the local Network Administrator at the Kronos office in Chicago. I was responsible for over 25 servers. In the last few years we moved more towards using virtual servers. The servers were mainly used for development and QA with some file servers and source control. We also had one multi-versioned Oracle server and two SQL servers.
