As an estimator at CBI, I was responsible for all preconstruction tasks involving the bid process. My duties included reviewing, logging-in and tracking all RFP’s, creating subcontractor bid lists, running subcontractor walk thrus, qualifying bids, preparing the bid estimate and submitting to the client. Other tasks included updating unit pricing, conceptual budgeting and assist project managers as needed.

Homes for Our Troops is a national non-profit, non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2004. We are strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries since September 11, 2001. It is our duty and our honor to assist severely injured Servicemen and Servicewomen and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor and to coordinate the process of building a home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently.

Assisted Senior Project Manager with all aspects of pre-construction, construction and close out activities for commercial interior fit-ups. Daily tasks included estimating and scheduling, running subcontractor walk-throughs, subcontractor bid clarification, run weekly job site meetings, coordinate tasks and activities with site supervisor and other subcontractors. Other tasks included reviewing shop drawings, coordinating RFI's, writing purchase orders and change orders and completing monthly billing for clients.

Provided coordination and production of construction documents from the predesign phase to final the construction document set. Also provided the organization of the permit process and was responsible for overall completion and coordination of other disciplines to complete the project for the bid/permit dates.

Co-Op position while attending Wentworth Institute of Technology. I assisted in drafting for all disciplines of the firm; architectural, electrical, mechanical and plumbing departments. Periodically assisted in site surveys for potential clients.
