For the past 22+ years, I have worked in the Customer Technologies organization with FedEx Services, serving as a Customer Technology Consultant since September 2001. My primary function in this role is to guide our medium to high-volume shippers, by way of consulting, towards the proper technological solution, as it pertains to shipping and the supply-chain.Over the past two decades, our role as Technology Consultants has evolved from an emphasis on training and database integration for shippers to holistic consulting, understanding the potential benefits of third-party solutions, and advising best practices. Shipping/label creation remains critical, however visibility, reporting, and billing have become increasingly important in this current e-Commerce world.Prior to my employment with FedEx, I served in the United States Marine Corps as an Aviation Tactical Information Systems Specialist (MOS 6494) with the Marine Air Wing. After being Honorably Discharged, I worked as an IT Consultant for RHI Consulting, dispatched for projects at Progressive Insurance, Cablevision, and RPS, among several other companies.In my spare time, I like spending time with my wife Jen, including frequent recreational travel. The fantastic Arizona weather creates opportunities to hike the mountain trails or hop on the mountain bike for a healthy ride. I enjoy sports, and like to play as much as my body allows me to, and watching the most elite compete at the highest level. I am blessed to have a platform to discuss what I watch and provoke thought on the subject as host of the nationally-syndicated Sports Overnight America show, which airs on the Sports Byline Broadcast Network.Would like to connect with those from all walks of the professional landscape.
