DICTU is building software for RvIG, to help with the administration of Dutch citizens. My team was responsible for building portals for non-residents. For example, Dutch nationals who live abroad, cross-border commuters and migrant workers who live for short periods in the Netherlands.

In order to better help their customers, Rabobank is working on an application which helps determine whether a customer will be able to pay off a potential loan. Within this application, I worked on a service that manages loan proposals, so that other systems can calculate risk scores for these proposals.

At ING I am part of one of the developer teams working on the contact center at ING. Whenever a customer contacts ING, they go through this contact center. My team is primarily responsible for telephony and messaging (or email). High availability and security are critical for this product. Together with my team, it is my responsibility to ensure that.

At ING I helped design and build an application which keeps track of actions performed at ING Service Points. This is necessary to calculate the correct fees and commissions to be paid to these Service Points. For this, we used the Axon framework with Kafka.

To help ING further develop their Engineering Journeys, I spent half a year in Brussels, Belgium. During this time I set up a new front-end in which software engineers can find all the necessary information and resources needed to develop software at ING.

At Kramp it is my job to help the front-end team set up a development stack with which they can create rich and interactive front-end applications. We use React and Redux, together with Node.js and Spring Boot.

At e*cube we build software that is used for web shops and for the delivery of web orders. I work both on the frontend and the backend of our applications. I use technologies such as MySQL, Laravel, Tomcat and Angular.One of the applications I work on is a Java application which we designed to be able to quickly render catalog pages and product detail.

As teaching assistant it was my job to help students with their homework and to grade their homework. I assisted with several courses such as Mathematics for Artificial Intelligence and Graph Theory. Some of the subjects that were covered in these courses were Probability Theory, Linear Algebra, Calculus, Fourier Analysis, Discrete Mathematics and Graph.
