My main career background is as a high school commerce and business education teacher, but since moving to Canada I have been working in an accounting firm getting real-world experience in the concepts and skills I have previously taught.I get a kick out of utilizing cloud software as a tool to improve workflow efficiency, both in the classroom and in businesses and have worked with a wide range of technology including Xero, QuickBooks Online, HubDoc, WagePoint, TaxCycle, Office 365/SharePoint, Google Suites and DropBox. I am passionate about helping small business owners (current and future!) take control of their finances and accounting by helping them gain an understanding of the bookkeeping processes.When I'm not working I'm usually running, watching Netflix or trying to convince my husband we should get a dog.
