I support the onboarding team by reviewing historical accounting processes for new clients. As part of this review, I identify the scope of catch-up or clean-up work and then establish their processes going forward. This can involve setting up cloud accounting technology and integrations, setting up client working papers, and ensuring the file is in a good state to hand off to the delivery team with all processes documented.I established and documented the processes and templates for doing these deep dives so they will be carried out consistently as the team grows.

I led a team of bookkeepers to prepare and review monthly financial statements for clients in a range of industries. I also led a weekly teach-back session with the delivery team for upskilling around accounting concepts and technology.

I perform bookkeeping duties for clients and set up and train clients in using QuickBooks online. I also consult with a client on their Mortgage Investment Corporation (MIC) mortgage management and accounting software, and help set up and train their clients in using the software. In addition, I carry out general office administration duties for my employer, including managing our CRM software (Zoho CRM) and Office 365 E3 Enterprise account.

During my time at Upper Hutt College I taugth Economics, Accounting, Business/Enterprise Studies, Financial Literacy and Maths to students in Years 9-13 (Grades 8-12). I planned, developed and implemented a hybrid Year 13 course in 2016 that included a combination of Economics, Accounting, Business Studies units and participation in the Young Enterprise Scheme.In 2016 I also took on the role of Head of Department - Commerce. This included overseeing one other classroom teacher, managing the department budget and resources and overseeing curriculum and assessment across all Commerce subjects. While at UHC I was also a member of the IT and Junior Curriculum Review committees and helped coach the Junior Girls' Football team.

I was a classroom teacher in the Commerce Department in a long-term relief position. I taught Year 10 Commerce, Year 11 combined Accounting and Economics, Year 12 Business and Budgeting and combined Years 12 and 13 Economics. I was also responsible for a Year 10 form class.
