Have prepared and dismantled down testing centers for Virginia Standards of Learning testing and filled in for TSSPecs who were out sick or on disability (Franconia and Riverside Elementary). Have disassembled and installed entire stationary computer labs (Mount Vernon HS). Assisted in the technological needs of schools under renovation (Lanier Middle School), as well as facilitated IT needs and goals during meetings with administrators and upper management. Provided aid with memory upgrades which were provided through the county and Title 1 schools. Have created and maintained printer scripts, worked with SMS (installation/reporting), and helped assist teachers and other facility members with MyPLT. Have general knowledge of object oriented programming (Java) and creating and managing SQL databases. Prepared portable ghosting hard drives for TSSPecs and have taken classes in computer security, networking and forensics. Understanding and use of Request IT for technical support needs (Riverside ES). General understanding of Norton Server backup software, file permissions, user profiles and associated security settings as well as applying and writing group policies.
