I have experience with science and scientific research, as I worked in a nano-optics laboratory for a four month period during the summer of 2019, and the fall of 2019, as well as independently designed and conducted experiments on the field of Environmental Science and Engineering for two years in a row. I also have experience in Genetics, sequencing DNA from duckweed and analyzing the received strands. During the summer of 2018, I worked in the mass spectrometry laboratory at Stevens Institute of Technology, and conducted research on various compounds and their isotopes.I have worked as a tutor for one year at Kumon, as well as three months at Foley Prep, while in the process gaining valuable interpersonal communication skills as well as strengthening my communication in specific academic subjects such as math and writing. I have also worked at Master Park's Black Belt America for about 5 years as an instructor, which also raised my communication ability. I am a certified Emergency Medical Technician, and have been volunteering at the Holmdel First Aid Squad in Holmdel, NJ for approximately three years. This has built my confidence, and improved my skills and thought processes under extreme pressures, such as in situations where the patient is in cardiac arrest, or has severe brain damage.
