In the order capture part of the system customers can order new or manage existing broadband products (voice, internet and other IP-services). The second part of the project entails the actual delivery (activation on the fiber network) of these products. This means translating sales orders into a set of network orders (functional products) and submit these orders in a particular sequence to the activation systems. For the implementation KPN has chosen the Cordys BPM suite. As such Cordys is responsible for the 'orchestration' of the mentioned processes. Cordys delivers a single platform which allows organizations to design, execute, monitor, change and continuously optimize their critical business processes and operations.My role in the project is to create the high level design and architecture for this Cordys solution and to support the team during development and testing.My second role is to interact with the customer and capture new or changed business requirements and to incorporate these without compromising the architectural integrity.Tools and technologies: Cordys Business Process Management suite (C3).

The Acquirer Interface system is an interface to banks and acquirers (p.e. shops and stores) to accommodate changes in their services or hardware (e.g. pin device).An important part of the interface is the (generically implemented) validation of incoming messages, and the transformation and enrichment of these messages. Based on these enriched messages Cordys is used to update backend systems. My role for this project was BPM/SOA consultant and key developer. -

Als platform heeft Equens gekozen voor het Cordys platform. Het runtime systeem bestaat uit een aantal (executeerbare) Business Process models, services en XForms die tezamen met de enterprise service bus (ESB) de kern van het systeem vormen.Het betaalsysteem is opgeleverd aan een bankenconsortium in Egypte dat de organisatie van het betalingsverkeer verder organiseert. Ik heb van april 2005 tot februari 2007 aan dit project meegewerkt in de rol van SOA architect en in de rol van technisch ontwerper. Verder was ik verantwoordelijk voor een deel van de implementatie en de uitrol van het systeem in Caïro (onder auspiciën van Equens).

Het concept is er onder andere op gericht om tot een integrale capaciteitsplanning te komen.Het besturingsconcept is door mij vertaald naar een logistiek model van de overslagterminal. Vanuit dit model heeft hij een prototype (software-applicatie) ontwikkeld. Het doel van het prototype is het verifiëren van de juiste werking van het plannings- en besturingsconcept en van de gemaakte aannamen.
