At bol.com I am the lead (and only) Product Designer of the product area APPA at Ecommerce Products, including product such as Promotions, Insights of Pricing and Assortment, Commissions, Assortment Quality and Sustainability. As the only designer, I help 15 product teams (± 100 people) to innovate, so that the products they deliver meet the needs and desires of their users and the goals of bol.com. It's up to me, in close collaboration with the Head of Product and (group) Product Managers, to find the right priority and start initiatives that support the OKRs and where I can add the most value. My way of working is to propose simple approaches, in which we can achieve our goal with innovative ideas. All teams have different demands: I either help teams with design knowledge, workshops, or hands-on performing product discovery, ideation, and experimentation.

Luqo BV is also developing Dobbly: a game in which children and parents play together as equals while working on collaboration skills. As a Functional Designer I worked in a SCRUM team to design functionality of an Electronic Medical Record system. Together with the Product Owner, consultants, team members, users, customers and other experts, I tried to make the best design possible, considering the wishes of the Product Owner and users, but also keeping the technical limitations in mind. Besides this, I also introduced user centered design by introducing the use of Customer Journies and Paper Prototypes.

Studio diip is a startup, that focusses on image recognition and product design. I worked on designing and implementing serveral projects like numberplate recognition using C++ and OpenCV.
