Until April 2018, I was responsible for directing solution development at kudu (www.kudu.ug).

Pursuing technical and business implementations to meet individual and organizational needs. I apply my expertise in software development, computer science algorithms, and digital security, among others to develop unique and innovative systems. I was responsible for the following activities;- Software Architecture; I worked as a lead software architect for new solutions development and determine development and deployment platforms and standards to be followed. - Projects management to ensure that our activities stay on schedule and within budget.- Ensured software products integrity by performing source code reviews, automated tests and manual functional and userability testing.- Ensured projects adherence to software development best practices- Responsible for new skills development for developers to ensure that small teams of talented developers stay motivated to solve challenges ahead of them.- Performed market analysis to identify and evaluate opportunities for envisaged products under development.- Developed marketing strategies that are effective, high impact and within company financial budget.- Performed market analysis to evaluate performance of our solutions using business analytics tools that were also developed under my initiative.- Spearheaded proposals and grant applications writing to local businesses, investment funds, international agencies and philanthropic foundations.

Providing ICT leadership, digital services innovations and management at Finance Trust Bank.

Teaching mainly computer science, digital security and data-communications courses for graduate and undergraduate courses.

I was responsible for the following strategic operations;- Development and implementation of an IT Enterprise Architecture framework to support the bank to realize its vision and achieve its strategic objectives.- Analysis of IT environment to identify deficiencies and creating synergies with technical teams to implement enhanced solutions based on leading industry Enterprise standards.- Contributed to the design and documentation of key system components, interfaces, infrastructure and communications focusing on standards and technologies .- I was responsible for new system designs and architecture that enable systems performance qualities, such as availability, security, scalability & recoverability.- I actively contributed to major projects for enterprise change --- delivering change project architecture, interfaces definition, protocols and definition of internal IT standards.- Interfacing Business Information Plans together with the IT department to support the translation of business plans into migration actions.- Active monitoring and review of agreed targets in relation to costs, quality and risks

I worked in this capacity as a senior network and systems administrator for a team of talented computer engineers, systems/network administrators, scientists, developers and lab attendants. At that time the college of computing had close to 2000 computer terminals and 7000 computing students.- I was responsible for strategic leadership and planning in the college for all ICT based technical installations. I contributed to strategic alignment of all other business processes of teaching and research to existing and envisaged technical installations in the college.- I was responsible for Planning, designing, documentation and implementation of systems (network, software and hardware) for the college- Provided performance tuning, software upgrades and required resource mobilization..- Provided guidance and support to systems administrators to ensure data integrity and availability through backups and operations of all enterprise systems.- Provided statistical and narrative reports regarding operational, vendor and user activities.- Provided training to college personnel regarding specialized hardware and information systems.- Actively contributed to the college strategic plans covering a period of over 10 years. - I spearheaded an internship program that imparted technical skills for over 300 interns. - Responsible for the recruitment and training of systems and network administrators in the ICT Support Services department for the college. This team has successfully implemented key technical solutions for the college.

- I worked as a lead technical and business solutions integrator for the migration of Uganda Telecom’s Mobile Money platform to a newer version. This project required a detailed understanding of the old Mobile Money platform from the business processes, high-level application architecture to the hardware and software implementations. I managed to strike a delicate balance between UTL’s business requirements and the vendor’s new platform development and configuration requirements. I also participated in critical licensing negotiations which helped UTL save money.- I worked with the Risk and Revenue Assurance team to establish an enterprise-wide Risk management framework and risk strategy which offers a structured, consistent and continuous process improvement across the organization- I helped revenue and risk teams to identify and assess risks associated with networks and billing platforms. I created & managed controls to mitigate these risks to boost revenue.- Translating technical requirements into business processes for product development- Defined an integration of business process with the technical solutions developed and provided by the Information Technology (IT) department.- I developed Key Performance Indicators KPIs) for business and Technical processes in the IT department.- Defined high-level specifications for mission critical systems deployment in the billing enterprises.Mediation, Rating, Invoicing, CRM and MIS systems
