When I was 12 years old, my hair was down to the top of my ears and I was about to start a season of flag football. My dad took me to a barber because you CANNOT play football with hair (sorry Clay Matthews). My dad paid for me to get a buzz cut, which my mom could have easily done for free, but it was fate. I walked out of that barber shop with my first job.At 13 I had to move on from the barber shop and found one of the best jobs there is for a young boy/girl. I caddied at Ravisloe Country Club for a couple years and quickly moved up to a hourly paid job at 15 where I worked in the bag room, on the driving range and cleaned the golf carts. My boss recommended me for the same position at Olympia Fields Country Club. Moving to OFCC allowed me to work during the 2003 US Open and see the best golfers in the world up close (I kept a couple golf balls that Tiger Woods hit onto the driving range). I eventually followed my former Ravisloe boss to Edgewood Valley Country Club where I made the most money that I had throughout my caddying days. I eventually saved up enough to buy a ring and propose to my now wife of 10+ years (we now live in SC and have 3 girls).After enjoying math and science classes at Homewood-Flossmoor High School, I decided I wanted to go to school for engineering and chose Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) and graduated with a BSME. I interned at a railroad lifiting equipment manufacturer and started as an application engineer full time after college. I eventually moved into sales and currently have over a decade of experience with heavy duty lifting, conveying and rotating equipment. I am an effective communicator, natural leader, and versatile with experience in project management, sales, marketing, engineering, customer service and more. I enjoy working with and meeting new people and want to continue to grow and experience more. I'm headed to my barber to see what's in store for today....
