Work with end users within Southern Company on a vast array of IT related issues.

•Provide all aspects of hardware/software services and support, as well as performing LAN/WAN administrative functions, handling computer moves, and training staff on new software and systems.•Install and upgrade operating systems; ensure that patches are up to date for system applications.•Set up, configure, and upgrade network devices (routers, firewalls, printers) and wireless networks; provide network support (hardware, operating systems, application software, peripherals). •Perform PC and peripheral setups, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance. •Perform troubleshooting, data recovery, and migration.•Identify security or infrastructure issues; ensure cost-effective solutions.•Evaluate and analyze new technologies; document findings; submit suggestions and recommendations to management. •Remote access technical support
