I am a sustainability and micro-enterprise development practitioner with over 25 years of experience in diverse social and environmental sectors. As a strategic advisor to WRI's Land Accelerator South Asia and other prominent incubators like AIC-Banasthali, I mentor and coach start-ups and passionate youth who want to work with rural and disadvantaged communities or in climate impact areas like land restoration, soil/water conservation etc. I help them develop innovative solutions and business plans that can create a lasting positive change on the society and the planet.As a Director, ESG & Alliances at Vasshin, an environmental engineering company, I lead the strategy and execution of projects that promote sustainable lifestyles and reduce plastic waste. Working with an Ashoka fellow led organisation- NSPL for more than a decade, I build partnerships and collaborations with various stakeholders, including governments, international donors, impact investors, and corporate besides helping with global fundraising projects. My core competencies include formulating business plans and strategies, writing fundraising proposals and networking with funders, conducting action research in Climate impact areas, designing and evaluating development projects, and implementing public-private-community partnerships for my NGO & Corporate clients.
