Dick Peterson has over thirty years of experience working with closely-held businesses, primarily working with clients that have manufacturing operations and also with a variety of professional service firms. This includes both preparation of audited financial statements and income tax services to those clients.In addition to providing his clients with their accounting and tax needs, Dick has substantial experience in business valuation and litigation support. He has the ABV credential (Accredited in Business Valuation) awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Further, he has been designated as a Certified Valuation Analyst (“CVA”) by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He has been involved with valuations of small, closely-held businesses and professional practices for the past 15 years.As a member of the AICPA’s Business Valuation and Forensic & Litigation Services Section, Dick is called upon frequently to testify as an expert witness on matters related to damage calculations and valuation issues.
