Facilitate the teen-nurturing curriculum to aid in helping teens and parents to communicate in healthier ways and restore relationships. Additionally, work with teens to explore at their self-esteem, habits, and choices.

Teach students in three different classes: Relationships, Parenting, and Nutrition and Wellness. Organized teaching materials and prepare outlines and lesson plans. Planned the best method of teaching the course material. Depending on the subject and the equipment available, used lectures, demonstrations, field trips, student projects, or other teaching methods.

Served as the manager of a dining facility that supported over two thousand Soldiers and civilians daily. Supervised and led over 127 staff members, responsible for over $500,000 in real property, managed over $42,000 budget for expendable and nonexpendable supplies and equipment, service as a liaison between the facility and all stakeholders.

Served under the supervision of the Program Manager’s oversaw three dining facilities throughout the state of Alaska. Wrote policies, managed operations, inspected, and counseled personal in each facility.

Worked directly for the Commanding General advising on any issues dealing with equal opportunity issues. Supervised an office staff with a team of EO Advisors. Managed and operated the post Equal Opportunity course where military personnel were trained to provide EO services in the subordinate units. Directly responsible to monitor the installation and surrounding towns for any “isms” directly impacting Soldiers: sexism, racism, and religious accommodations.

Reported to the Garrison Commander, trained all military and civilians employees on Consideration for Others Program. Developed and lead team-build activities, conducted climate assessments and kept a finger on the pulse of the culture of all Garrison organizations.

Taught, coached, and mentored over five hundred young leaders and four Instructors. Taught over 26 leadership classes: effective communication to Leadership traits to counseling subordinates and everything in between. Planned and conducted all formal graduations for the academy.

Instructed over 28 leadership training classes for over 2.5 years in formal and informal environments to include effective communication, counseling, map reading and effective writing to name a few.

I taught business classes to Soldiers deployed in Iraq.
