Director, Global Partnerships
Senior Manager, Business Development & Partnerships
In my role at CF, I led business development for all innovation pilots developed by CF’s Innovation Practice & Product groups, developing outreach and engagement strategies designed to integrate CF clients into first-to-market innovations including same-day/next-day delivery and the Live by CF app. My role also encompassed sponsorship sales strategy where I led cross-functional collaboration across CF including Product, Marketing, Leasing, Legal, and Finance teams to develop execution plans for the integration of brands such as LEGO, Ziploc & Longo’s into national digital & experiential CF marketing experiences. Additionally, I led relationship management for 50+ retailer client accounts across CF, negotiating their integration into nationally focused digital and physical marketing experiences, resulting in millions of impressions across CF channels.
Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships
As a leader on the Corporate Partnerships team, I developed, pursued, and managed an annual pipeline of $3M. I led objective setting & negotiating terms for contracts with new partners and supported large-scale, high-value renewals with brands including Nespresso and Fairmont resulting in an average 20% increase in investment. This role encompassed the negotiation and account management for all TIFF social media partnerships resulting in the creation of a new, multi-year revenue-generating partnership model with Twitter that leveraged branded pre-roll on TIFF content.I worked with a great team, acting as senior support for a team of two managers, leading the review & approval of all sales materials & new business contracts, and ensuring internal strategic alignment before external circulation.
Manager, Corporate Partnerships
As a top contributor on the new business team, I negotiated over $2.6M in net-new partnership revenue, managing the full sales process from prospecting to close. My sales leadership was also leveraged to renew high-value Corporate Partners, resulting in an average 24% increase in investment. As a people leader on the team, I managed 1 full-time and 2 part-time staff members during the busy Festival period.A highlight in this role was creating the first Cannabis marketing partnership between a Licensed Producer and a major international film festival. I led the full process from Executive and Legal approval to outreach, ideation, negotiation, and execution.
Project Manager, Special Projects
My role on the Special Projects team saw me responsible for the ideation, planning, stakeholder communication, and execution of TIFF’s 40th-anniversary celebrations throughout 2015, with oversight of a budget of $250,000+, resulting in two high-profile, 2000 + attendee events and the execution of a crowd-sourced screening series of 10 films from TIFF’s history. In this multifaceted role, I led & managed a team of 3 direct reports working on multiple cross-functional projects related to TIFF’s 40th anniversary & contributions to Canada’s Sesquicentennial celebrations.A highlight for me was leading the planning and execution of touring programmes of Canadian films in New York & Los Angeles. I led budget oversight, contract negotiation, event planning, on-site talent management & event execution for these projects. Another exceptional experience was collaborating with TIFF’s Director, Government & Foundation Relations, to develop the programming plan, project plan, and budget for TIFF’s Canada On Screen project, which was awarded $1.3M in funding from the Federal Government’s Canada 150 Secretariat.
Senior Coordinator, Board And Executive Relations
In this expanded role, I project managed, researched, and edited TIFF’s Five-Year Strategic Plan. I also had the privilege to manage two direct reports at the Coordinator level, ensuring that they were deployed in the most robust way possible. My work here was focused on optimizing interdepartmental cooperation and collaboration to drive forward the needs of TIFF’s Executive team.
Coordinator, Board And Executive Relations
As a key member of the Executive Office, I managed the complicated day-to-day schedule of the Director and CEO & Executive Director and COO. Additionally, I collaborated closely with the Director, Board, and Executive Relations in providing stewardship and support for TIFF’s prominent engaged Board of Directors.
