My responsibilities were to test our product V-Spark. This product allowed users to bulk-load audio files (such as call-center calls). They were then processed by our state-of-the-art automatic speech recognition (ASR) engine. Once the resulting json files were returned to V-Spark, the calls were scored by completely customizable “scorecards” which were then reported back to the user. It also provided a powerful dashboard that gave the user file details, statistics and advanced searching capabilities. Testing was manual, API and automated. My major duties included:• Creation of master test plans/cases in Zephyr for each iteration, with peer and developer review• Execution of test suites for my projects as well as daily review of execution status from the other team members• API testing (including security) for all of our major APIs• Automation as necessary with Cypress/Javascript• Daily scrum meetings with the development and QA staff to make sure we are on schedule for the iteration• Working with development and product management to resolve questions/concerns over proposedfunctionality and perceived bugs• Reviewing automation results (functional and performance) before each release• Reporting of release status to upper management• Review and escalation, as needed, for production issues and outages
