I am blessed to have maintained the same level of curiosity and imagination that I gained at a young age. This gift has turned me into a life-time learner with broad interests and experiences. When I was twelve I began building websites and learning graphic design. Continually playing with layouts, coding and Photoshop, over the last twenty years has led to some fun projects. I have worked with tattoo shops, app developers, and corporations to create simple one-page adverts to full multi-page websites with graphics.Around 2009 YouTube was getting big and I began making a video every week for years. I would write out what I wanted to do or say, film the video, and then spend hours editing. Using editing techniques to draw viewers into the scene was my favorite part. The first podcast I did was called Proper Conversation around 2013. My friend and I would pick a topic and riff for 30 minutes. Over four months we made it to #64 of the Top 100 of Comedy Podcasts and were featured on the New and Noteworthy section. This project fell apart due to scheduling conflicts. Since then I have had many fun podcast projects.I love learning about my interests and growing as a person. The book that lit this flame was How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. This book catapulted me into reading hundreds of books every year and had a profound impact on my psyche. It pushed me to learn everything I could about stoicism, meditation, personal finance, self-love, better health, and eventually trading. The newest interest was sparked by Bitcoin in 2017, trading. I love every aspect of trading from the bar charts showing the historical prices, to studying human psychology, to understanding basic risk control. Building and testing trading systems over the past three years has easily been the most rewarding, challenging, and fun hobby I have ever practiced. All of these hobbies have aided in the work world. Building websites for fun led to building websites for others. Making videos for YouTube led to two video editing jobs. Constantly learning new programs and fixing new problems helped me to get promoted very quickly at two companies.I have been able to adapt and thrive in so many different fields because I am a problem solver. I have proven to myself over and over again that I am great at finding more productive ways at doing tasks and I find solutions to problems regardless of the environment. I have worked in clothing, scanning, training, advertising, and banking professionally and have always felt comfortable with the tasks at hand.
