I am a Professor-Librarian at Rider University in New Jersey, where I currently co-lead our Online Learning Initiatives for the University Libraries and the Research Instruction Program (Fall 2021-- ) for the Franklin F. Moore Library, and I perform duties as the Acting Department Chairperson for the Katharine Houk Talbott Music Library, Westminster Choir College (Spr 2022). I also continue to serve as Education Librarian (liaison to College of Education & Human Services [CEHS]), where I perform liaison duties for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs within CEHS, while continuing to teach a substantial percentage of our course-integrated, assignment-specific research instruction sessions (traditional in-person and online) within various academic disciplines. Additionally, I am the library liaison for the Dr. Eugene Marsh Center for Veterans & Military Affairs, the MA in Athletic Leadership, and the MS in Cybersecurity. Before that, I was elected as the Department Chairperson for the Franklin F. Moore Library in 2013 and re-elected in 2016 for another three-year term (limited to two consecutive terms). Before taking on the role of Department Chairperson, I co-led the Moore Library Research Instruction Program for 15 years and served as the Communication & Journalism Librarian. I have also taught various undergraduate business communications, identity theft prevention, English composition, & public speaking seminars & courses, and undergraduate and graduate library & information science courses, in addition to volunteering to serve as the University’s first Faculty-in-Residence from 1998-2002. I currently teach within the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program (sponsored jointly by the United States Department of Education & Rider University): o McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program: InfoLit (2 summers, 1 sem. hr. each, 2020-2021)

Also, I volunteered as Rider’s first Faculty-in-Residence, providing academic, educational, and social programming for first-year students, while living with my family in the Freshman Experience Residence Hall.
