I like knowing how everything fits together and works just right, which is why I am fascinated by small business. I love figuring out how to make things better, and I appreciate effectively run organizations and all of the people who make them tick.I have a heart for small business. I believe it's a vital part of our economy and I believe that small business owners are special people who can make big things happen for them and their communities. In high school, I was the kid in all of the fancy math classes. A friend and I used to do math every morning by our lockers before school started - by choice. I’ve always loved numbers and puzzles and my brain “gets” the math behind accounting. Debits and credits are natural for me.I've also been in your shoes, as an entrepreneur for over a decade. My father and I started a disaster restoration franchise together. I was the general manager and wore ALL the hats. That’s when I fell in love with entrepreneurship (I could talk business with you all day long). I learned some things I’m not so great at and realized I’m awesome in administration and finance. We sold our franchise business when my dad retired and I’m now a few years into building my bookkeeping business. I relate to what you do, which gives me a unique perspective to better serve you.Being a bookkeeper is a perfect blend of my background, skills, experiences, and passions. This is exactly where I should be and what I should be doing, and I am excited to be here!I’m a musician, which is another little piece of me. The business name is a nod to my musical background. Music is math and art and passion all together, and I’m blessed that I still get to do it for fun. It has taught me so much including discipline and performance, and has given me life-long friendships. There’s also some really great analogies between music and business. Side note - my team absolutely rocks. I love providing great, flexible jobs for amazing humans. They all enjoy serving the small business community as well and I know you’ll appreciate working with them. Making it a good experience for you is our calling.
