I am a budding blogger and enjoy writing on workplace culture, ADHD, courage, motherhood and how we connect as humans. I am a skilled problem solver and strategic planner. I approach projects with a vision of the big picture and focus on the details. I graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Sociology with a minor in Philosophy; In choosing my degree, I decided I wanted to help people and influence positive change. My work experience and studies at Carleton enabled me to develop well rounded research skills and critical thinking approaches to problem solving.Since beginning in the Public Service in 2008 I have had various roles and experiences that allowed me to connect with people across Canada and different levels of governments. I am passionate about Canadian policy and how public servants shape the country we live in and love every day. I believe Canada should provide a safe, healthy and fair life for all who inhabit the land and that as policy practitioners we have an important role to play in this ideal.
