I have the great honor of serving the City of Azle, Texas, as the Place 6 Council Member, where I also act as liaison to the Special Events Committee and one of two Ex-Officio members of the Crime Control & Prevention District Board members. I am also the City's representative for the North Central Texas Council of Governments.

Management of commercial litigation and bankruptcy issues.

Located in the D/FW Metroplex, I am leveraging my litigation and bankruptcy experience to provide aggressive, yet ethical, protection and guidance for small business owners. In additition, I continue to handle commercial disputes, civil litigiation, and I work closely with start-up companies in all facets and phases of operations. Currently I am handling a large number of foreclosure litigation matters, as well as consumer bankruptcy.I recently completed the manuscript for my first novel, and am actively seeking an agent/publisher for that project. My next novel is in the planning stages, and I am seeking a collaborator for a book on the foreclosure crisis.

As senior attorney, I am primarily responsible for day to day operations of one of the largest consumer bankruptcy firms in D/FW. Additionally, I handle the majority of the contested matters, business related bankruptcy issues, and litigation for the firm. At the same time, I am growing the scope of the firm's practice by developing a general litigation practice for the firm including commercial disputes, family law, real estate issues and representation of small businesses and small business owners.

Bushido Productions LLC is a Texas based media production company. Currently, Bushido Productions is working on two film projects due for release this year. The smaller of the two productions is the first ever professional video presentation of the balck belt test of students of the internationally renowned J. Pat Burleson. Due out later this year is a landmark documentary tentatively titled "Blood and Guts Era: The Historical Beginnings of the Modern Martial Arts Era." In connection with the Blood and Guts project, the Company is currently seeking video, audio, still photos, newspaper articles and other artifacts related to martial arts from the 1950's through the late 1970's.
