Chemical Production Supervisor at the BioLab/Chemtura facility in Conyers, Ga. Responsible for bulk production of Greased Lightning brand cleaning products as well as many liquid Pool and Spa treatment chemicals across various brand labels in the Chemical Production department. Managed waste treatment operations for all liquid and powder manufacturing onsite, including hazardous waste. also functioned as the backup for the Liquidfill bottling department. Responsibilities included: daily production scheduling, overseeing the wastewater pretreatment operation, maintaining company 5S standards, initiating and leading Kaizen events, initiating and leading Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) events, leading safety initiatives, conducting monthly safety training, maintaining budgetary compliance over a production and safety budget, interviewing and hiring operators, tracking key metrics (KPIs) for the department, controlling, tracking and disposing of liquid wastes, neutralizing hazardous and non-hazardous solid waste powders, receiving and unloading bulk liquid tanker trucks, and controlling bulk liquid and drummed liquid inventories.

Production Supervisor in the unionized Lithonia manufacturing plant (previously Pillsbury until 10/2001). Supervised 36 – 50 2nd shift, unionized direct reports on six continuous mix Pie shell production lines and four continuous packaging lines. Responsibilities included: scheduling, meeting production goals, holding weekly crew meetings, leading safety initiatives, maintaining specification compliance, enforcing Federal Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and ensuring Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Manufacturing Control Point (MCP) measures are in compliance.After the General Mills acquisition of Pillsbury, the Lithonia, Ga plant was slated for closure and the production lines were transferred to the Murfreesboro, Tn plant. Selected to be a part of the Lithonia plant's transition team. Spent several months in the Murfreesboro, Tn plant assisting with the installation of the equipment and the training of the new workforce.
