• Master site technician responsible for technical maintenance of complex 911 radio systems and phone systems. By being on site all system issues were resolved in hours instead of days or weeks. This was accomplished by developing on site system documentation and updating and managing the spare network, computers and radio equipment. Weekly meetings were implemented to provide upper management and customer client’s data on the performance of the systems and the status of all spare equipment. Utilizing modern scheduling software ensured the highest level of service to public safety. • Service revenue was tracked by developing a Filemaker database – this software frequently uncovered on average $250,000 in missing revenue each month. By utilizing program development software this program became utilized in all of North America. By effectivly working in all of the territory regions complex revenue tracking issues were resolved and new revenue opportunities were discovered.• Microsoft Excel and VBA programming provided tools that tracked the performance of Astro trunked systems. These reports were reviewed at customer meetings and the results provided useful data that dramatically improved system uptime nearing 5 9’s performance. Other tools improved productivity to the service support team by many days of work by eliminating duplicate manual work. • Developed custom solutions that utilized electronics, programming, metal fabrication, fiberglass and painted for highly unique animation projects.
