As a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Minnesota, my research in the Haynes group has focused on designing nanomaterials for environmental and biological applications and establishing methods for understanding complex nanoparticle-small molecule interactions. I enjoy developing tools and analytical techniques to solve and better understand environmental and human health problems.I received my B.A. in Chemistry from New College of Florida. During this time, I worked with Dr. Suzanne Sherman developing synthetic models of enzyme active sites to better understand oxalate degrading enzymes.UMN contact: lewi1492@umn.edu
