Short-term Surge Project for USACE

• Setup, operate, maintain, and support computer hardware/software within AFLCMC\HIBB• Provide direct field support to the sites running the ACPS, Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation, or other future contracting information systems.• Act as the Computer Systems Administrator (CSA), and Functional Systems Administrator (FSA)• Provide technical advice to the Government in support of strategic planning to determine future hardware and software needs and to assist project managers on software development and problem resolution• Update and maintain the ACPS databases, and other databases as required, including migrationc and administration• Responsible for the setup, configuration, and maintenance of key software packages. (IBMMQ, IIS)• Responsible for system security updates, system security checks and the reporting of securityincidents in accordance with Air Force regulations.

Manage and maintain currently supported and subsequent Microsoft (MS) Windows Server Operating Systems (OS) on physical and virtual operating environments, providing technical oversight and consultation services. Utilize Windows scripting (PowerShell, Javascript, Personal Home Page, etc.) to optimize and automate system administration tasks. Provide technical support for disaster recovery efforts (actual or simulated). Perform hardware and software technology refreshes, ensuring milestone compliance while coordinating with MPs to minimize disruptions. Work with and manage Incident Management tickets within the help desk ticketing system. Perform back-up/recovery functions for Windows server environments. Perform all security/compliance functions for Windows server environments, including (Assured Compliance Acceptance Center (ACAS), SPLUNK, Host Based Security System (HBSS), Enterprise Security Posture System (ESPS), etc.) to monitor and mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance within specified timelines.

Monitor configuration using a variety of systems and tools to ensure accreditation and compliance.Develop technical revisions to automated financial management systems to optimize operations or to meet customer business requirements.Perform studies to monitor and improve or enhance security-related projects.Perform storage system configuration changes to optimize the functionality and increase the efficiency of performance.Influence and persuade employees, managers and customers to accept and implement findings and recommendations.Assess existing technical and administrative processes for effectiveness, efficiency, and adherence to policy and standards in order to identify opportunities to improve process for better results, draft updated process documentation, socialize the process change, and measure results to ensure expected results are achieved from the change to the process.

Provide 24x7 support in data center environment.Maintain operational stability and evaluate Windows operating environments for Cybersecurity compliance.Patching, Identification, tracking, and change management.Preparing Batch and Powershell scripts for automation using BMC Bladelogic Server Automation.

Rapid deployment of windows servers (physical & virtual).Hands-on installation, configuration, patching and troubleshooting of windows virtual and physical servers.Prepare scripts using batch for automation of server operating tasks.Performing on-call duties on a 24/7 basis with additional assistance from available resources when necessary.Modifying established Active Directory structure.Implementation for hardware requestsMaintain virtual environments such as vCenter and ESXi

Clerical tasks (ex. Approving Emergency Break Fix requests).Support using BMC software (Remedy).Incident management.Active Directory (Password resets/New users).
