Sometime in 1993, my paternal grandmother named me after a famous Filipino singer, Regine Velasquez, hoping I'll inherit her talent by doing so. There's nothing wrong with that, except it didn't work. I mean it wouldn't work. Ever.Thankfully, I’ve managed to make peace with my untalented larynx, went to uni for a bachelor's degree in education, and landed my first job at Sutherland as a customer service rep for AT&T. What an intro to adulthood! There’s no looking back after that. My entry to the workforce magnified my curiosity. It made roles that are focused on troubleshooting and fixing issues easier, fun and fulfilling. I made the right choice, but what's next?I was a little afraid back then but I took the next step - went to Talent Acquisition! It's probably one of the best decisions I've made in my career so far. Now, it's no longer a simple problem-solving role but putting puzzles together with great-minded people to find top-notch talents.Interested in puzzle or not let's connect!
