I have been hired as a Rural Addressing/GIS Technician for a newly established office called Addressing Authority under the Division of Community Development of the Navajo Nation Government. My duties are to assist another RA/GIS Techician and RA Coordinator maintain and update Rural Addressing Structure Signs and Driveway Post. Map centerline and points for new homes and roads to add to our database. Use ArcGIS software to update spatial data and create map sets and datasets as well.

Works with workstations with Environmental Science Research Institute's (ESRI)'s ArcGIS software loaded on it. Mapping done electronically with geospatial data. Main mapping focus is anything pertaining to land: Chapter Boundaries, Surface Land Ownership, ranches purchased by the Navajo Nation, Township & Ranges, etc.Work with ArcGIS 9.x, ArcServer, ArcIMS, and ArcSDE. Manage and modify a geodatabase with all the datasets. Prints/Plots out maps for customers and emails/mail out.
