While he has held full-time communications positions in different industries, he has maintained a part-time faculty position in the Department of Communication at the University of Tampa where he has taught for eight years. Taking his knowledge from the classroom into the world, he is a recurring guest lecturer at the historic Tampa Theatre, a sought-after guest on film podcasts, and has a book coming out in 2025 on horror films.
