I have worked as a Geodetic Engineer II at Certeza Infosys Corporation for more than 3 years. As a contractor company, most of the projects I was involved in was more on field operations: Parcellary Surveys, GNSS/RTK Surveys and other related engineering surveys. I have accomplished twenty (20) large-scale projects under my management and supervision as the Chief of Party of each project. In 2014, I was hired as the Senior Science Research Specialist (SSRS) by the Visayas State University for the Phil-LiDAR 2 Program, “Nationwide Detailed Resource Assessment Using LiDAR”, under DOST. The project involved assessment, research and processing of LiDAR datasets, doing assessment on resources such as Agriculture, Coastal, Forest, Irrigation Networks and Renewable Energy within Region VIII. It was my responsibility as their senior to manage and spearhead the group of more than twenty (20) personnel and lead them towards the completion of the project.I have my expertise on handling GNSS and RTK Surveys, field survey and mapping analysis and natural disaster risk and resource assessment. I have experience in using advanced technology for ground earth and survey analysis such as LiDAR, REMOTE SENSING and GIS. I am proficient on some modelling software and common applications such as QGIS, ARCMAP, AutoCAD and others. I am adept in making decisions in crucial cases and be a role player in working as a team. Throughout my career, I’ve been hands-on in managing and supervising the people around me to have a fruitful and meaningful output, be it with three (3) or more survey teams or twenty (20) or more research personnel.
