Secure philanthropic resources to invest in the strategic priorities of the school.Student Engagement: Create exceptional student engagement for the school, partnering with faculty leadership, leaders from the Darden Student Success Group (DSSG), Darden Centers of Excellence, student leaders and other stakeholders. Work collaboratively with the senior associate deans for the degree programs to support implementation of the complete program experience and exceptional student outcomes. Ensure a cohesive experience throughout all phases of student life. Foster and create a student success culture across units. Inspire, develop and empower leaders across the student success units to achieve their full potential and to support development of their teams.Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer: Lead advancement of the Darden school strategy and drive innovation initiatives across the organization. Continually develop, anchor and architect implementation of the strategy of Darden in pursuit of the mission and vision. Serve as a catalyst for continuous improvement and partner with other leaders to advance area strategies. Ensure a data-driven approach to problem solving including through leadership to Strategic IT. Lead innovation and transformation initiatives focused on advancing the mission of the school. Lead high stakeholder engagement processes to develop buy-in and motivate innovations in delivering programs. Collaborate with the leadership of the Batten Institute for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology, the Institute for Business in Society, and the Mayo Center for Asset Management to advance the mission of the school.
