- Leading a team (including Designer, PM, & one other Senior Engineer) to rebuild the payment flow to allow students to book multiple tutoring sessions in a single purchase, driving significant ARR impact. (React, Node, TypeScript, Express, PostgreSQL) - Led a team of engineers in an end-to-end creation of a new type of Outschool Classroom product, unlocking new class formats and establishing the product as a critical tool within the company which resulted in $2 million+ in ARR within 3 months of release.- Led implementation of a waitlist feature for classes and modified critical payment workflows, increasing revenue by generating thousands of additional learner enrollments.- Identified and improved inefficiencies throughout the codebase including: GraphQL usage and database optimizations(querying, indexing & transactions) and advanced JavaScript features (e.g. async generators) leading to reduced outages and improved query read speeds.

Working on the Netlify Connect team- Actively worked as a bridge between teams and as an explorer in order to test new tools for our team and improve our product. - leading the end to end development of ‘Standalone Connect’ a product that integrates Gatsby and Netlify cloud in order to create a graphql api based on multiple data sources (planning, communicating, and implementing projects of increasing complexity) (Node, Ruby on Rails, React, K8s, Docker, Graphql, Rest) leading to several million dollars in pipeline generation. - Leading the integration efforts of Gatsby Cloud with Netlify Cloud for Netlify Connect allowing us to have very aggressive deadlines in terms of releasing the Netlify Connect product- integrating cross platform permissions, APIs, database schemas and more to work between Gatsby Cloud and Netlify Cloud (JWTs, PostgreSQL, Prisma.io, Node, Authentication, authorization, Secret Management, GCP)- Onboarded and mentored junior and more senior engineers onto projects while teaching Kubernetes, State machines, api design, building systems for scaling and test driven development(Leadership, Planning, mentoring) leading to noticeable multi team impact and productivity

Working for the developer experience squad at Gatsby.- redesigned authentication flow to allow self-service authentication upgrade workos SSO for clients.- Redesigned entire Gatsby GitHub API & GitLab APIs to support GitHub & GitLab Cloud along with GitHub Enterprise Servers & GitLab Self Managed Server connecting to Gatsby Cloud to build and deploy sites. - lead the end to end development of Self-Hosted Git on Gatsby Cloud- Researched, documented, and presented to stakeholders the architecture of self-hosted Git connectors- redesigned UI for the second most used page on Gatsbyjs.com- collaborated with engineers across 10 different timezones, working on different projects, and within different squads in order to push the product forward.- implemented automated tests using Jest leading to higher code quality and less regressions.

- Created Jolt, an open-source framework for deploying JAMstack applications with serverless functions.- Designed, prototyped and built key features such as atomic deployments, updates, rollbacks, and teardowns of Jolt applications using Node and the AWS SDK (IAM, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFront, S3).- Implemented relative path redirection from CloudFront (CDN) to an API Gateway using edge computing resulting in a faster app development process and faster interactions with serverless functions (Lambda@Edge, CORS, HTTP).- Contributed to creating a local testing environment for testing serverless function integration allowing developers to simulate the production environment on AWS from the local machine (Express, Node, AWS Lambda).- Contributed to the creation of the Jolt CLI interface leading to having an intuitive UI/UX (Commander, Node).- Worked with a remote team of engineers during sprints to make key design decisions (Agile Workflow).- Led the creation of Jolt technical presentations while ensured technical accuracy and co-authored Jolt's technical case-study: jolt-framework.github.io/
