-Compile Piping Test Pack Definitions and System Definitions.-Assist QC compile Shop and Field packs for Shut down-Verify Dimensions for bolt on spools for the shut down -Check Shop spools conform to site dimensions-Bag and Tag Material Required for the Shut Per Tie-in-Confirm Heat numbers tie-up with fabricated spools -Confirm Welders against weld numbers on spools-Requirements for PMI’s and NDT’s for spools fabed-Lines are Stainless Steel, therefore Pick and Passivation Requirements before site installation-Track Progress of shop spools according to Schedule-Inspect Fabed spools for Arc strikes weld defects and cleanliness. -Shut down Piping supervision.-Ensure safe working steps of contractors.-Ensure all permits are in order for required activities.-Advise rectifications for any design flaws on site, lease with required engineers for changes.-Check installation is as per design.-Inspect and Punch Line with contractor, rectify Punch Items.-Punch line with Client and Plant owner. -Handover of MC.

-Creating Modules for IBL / OBL ease of construction-Design 9 Hydraulic actuated Piston Pumps.-Adding a new tier on the pipe rack to route lines to the IBL portion-27 Tie-in’s-Steam out connections-Oil Flushing connections and Steam Tracing.-Involved in Proposal development and pre-bid meetings with Client-Defining Scope definition for the Piping department-Managing scope changes and or trends that may affect other disciplines and may have cost impacts-Weekly and Monthly progress reports and status updates.-Keeping the Piping team within budget and within schedule-Coordinating the Battery limit interface design of OBL and IBL plant.-Internal model reviews with Uhde India and within Uhde SA. -Running Model Reviews with the Client.-Modeling of OBL Piping systems-Tie-in’s, Tie-in Schedules, Estimations of hours and materials. Man Power planning.-OBL portion of project is being built in an area where there are 4 other EC’s working, So interfacing between the EC’s was crucial to avoid clashes.-Attending client meetings and Progress meetings.-Reviewing vendor documentation, communicating changes to related departments for vendor documentation.-Checking Iso’s, and drawings to be issued for construction.

-Hydrogen compressor Project consisted of 3 HP Compressors and a Knock-out pot.-Column Replacement Project consisted of a Quench Tower-Installation of 6 new Pumps-Triplex pump and a Desuperheater-Coordinating Staff working on the project.-Advise and solve queries from designers.-Checking and executing plans for completing the project-Laying out of new equipment-Tie-in Schedules-Estimation of material and Hours-Designing and routing piping and Modeling new equipment.-Attend and running of model reviews internally and with the client.-Managing the hours on the jobs.-Issuing of documents for approval and construction.-Attending Progress meetings and coordination meetings.-Creating design changes for better operation of the design.-Drawing up Technical queries and issuing to the Client.-Issuing of bi-weekly progress report to project management.-Review vendor drawings and documents.-Squad checking Vendor drawings.-Documents and internal squad checks between disciplines.-Creating a Works information for Sub-contractors to bid on, and compiling all related documents.
