Having contributed content to the journal in the past, I was invited to officially join the TWC editorial advisory board in October 2017. By the time, I left, we managed wound care programs across about 800 wound centers, hospital inpatient programs, and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and had expanded internationally.During this period, I had a front row seat to both the on-the-ground operations and management, as well as corporate planning, regulatory / legal developments, and other strategic considerations for both the company and the industry. As the director of wound care centers, I partnered with hospital C-level executives (from small community hospitals to world-renowned academic institutions) whose wound care and HBOT programs we opened and managed. As a customer of advanced wound care products, I met and collaborated with sales, marketing, and clinical specialist professionals. Many of them are now in senior leadership positions within the industry.
